I was raised a few miles up the road in Haysville, so the Wichita area has always been "home" to me. I remember occasional trips into Mulvane. I have served the Mulvane United Methodist Church since July of 2020 having been in ministry 23 years prior to my coming. I met my wife while we were in seminary, getting married two months before I graduated with my M.Div. twenty years ago. I subsequently returned to the same seminary 8 years later to begin working on my doctoral degree in revitalizing congregations graduating with my D.Min. in 2017. My greatest joys are spending time with our two grown daughters, traveling the world and camping with my wife, and watching for what God is up to in the church and in the world. My philosophy in life is found in Romans 12:2.
